441 Thread & Cord Scissors for Bead Weaving & Jewelry Making

Xuron® Model 441 Thread and Cord Scissors for Bead Weaving and Jewelry Making.

In 2014 we introduced our Model 441 Thread & Cord Scissors. The concept for this tool came from being at trade events and interacting with bead weavers and jewelry makers who wanted a small (hand-friendly) scissors that would hold up to Fireline® and other high strength (and hard to cut) threads used for bead weaving.

At the BeadFest Expo in Philadelphia I spotted Jill Wiseman, of Jill Wiseman Designs, and in moment of uncharacteristic braveness, I introduced myself and asked if she would be willing to try it and give us her feedback.  We knew the scissors was good, but we also knew we needed a “thumbs up” from an expert in the bead weaving field.   Jill provided that for us and I am forever grateful for the fact that she was kind enough test drive it for us she now sells it on her web site.

    Dear Xuron:

I’m not sure where to ask this, but I read somewhere you have a “nipper” that can snip straight on rather than sideways.

I was wondering if you have one or more of this type as I have 4 of your cutters but could use a nipper or variety of nippers to complete my collection for jewelry making and repairing.
