Xuron Corporation manufactures three different styles of pneumatic wire cutters:
Model 590 Micro-Pneumatic™ Cutter – standard model with cutting blade capable of cutting soft wire up to 16 AWG (1.3 mm)
Model 590F Micro-Pneumatic™ Cutter with Lead Retainer – same as standard model but with the addition of a factory-installed lead retaining clip that prevents cut wires from flying
Model 590LP Micro-Pneumatic™ Cutter with Low Profile Cutter Head – thinner blades for better reach into tight spaces. This model will cut soft wire up to 20 AWG (0.8 mm)
These pneumatic cutters are lightweight, operate quietly, and require only 50 PSI (3.44 Bar) of clean, unlubricated air. The internal components are easily replaceable with the only tool necessary being a small Phillips head screw driver.
