I am looking for a wire cutter that will cut 12 gauge wire. I see reference to soft wire and I’m not sure what that means. The 12 gauge I’m talking about is called craft wire in the stores I shop. Will one of you cutters be right for the job? Also I want a cutters not a pliers cutter combo.
You could make the comment section read darker, it’s a light gray and I can barely see what I’ve written.

Thank you for your comment. I expect the wire you are referring to (craft wire) is soft and made from copper. Model 2175 Maxi-Shear(tm) Flush Cutter is the tool I recommend you try. It will cut up to 12 gauge (2mm).
