High Durability Shear Cuts Super-Strong Aramid Fibers

Xuron model 9180 ShearAn industrial-duty shear that was originally developed for cutting Kevlar® fiber and is ideally suited for cutting a variety of high strength fibers, including Fireline® fishing line used for bead stringing, is being introduced by Xuron Corp. of Saco, ME.

The Xuron model 9180 Shear features a serrated gripping edge that holds super-strong aramid fibers in place and another highly sharpened cutting edge that assures a clean, even, and uniform cut. Providing comfortable, cushioned rubber hand grips and a gentle return spring, these ergonomic shears have no bothersome finger loops and are ideal for bead stringing.

Because of their open design, the Xuron model 9180 Shear fits into any size hand and can be quickly picked up and put down without fumbling. Made from precision ground and heat treated carbon steel, this shear employs the proper cutting leverage to minimize squeezing and stays sharp.

A complete catalog of ergonomic shears and crafter pliers is available upon request.

Hundreds of distributors worldwide offer more than 100 different Xuron hand tools and associated products. Visit our Sales page for telephone numbers, email addresses and locations.
